..Interstate & GTI (Gordon Trucking) are the kings of I-5 here in Oregon, see their trucks all the time up & down I-5; next would be May as far as the number of them I see.. as far as how many miles they're getting I wouldn't know, the flats have been busy here too, more than usual for this time of year so they're getting loads too..

It's basically shaped in a horseshoe like course that's not much more than the length of the truck.
I'm still really disturbed that I was not given an actual final road test. Should have been given on before the skills test.
Backing, I could see given a final test on that. I don't see the relevance though about the jersey turn.

If you,re having a good experience w/May good on ya. But I drove for them for 8 months and was treated like crap. Yes, the miles were good but my D.M. was a prick and when winter rolled around that idle charge policy really bit me hard. The truck was a piece of junk and i couldn't run the bunk heater without draining the batteries it took weeks of griping and complaining to get the things replaced but by then I had decided that I was outta there.

Spoke with Opal today since I was looking for a pre-hire from May. Just so you all know, she told me that they are still not hiring out of CA.

May sucks. Did two years ago and still dose. Be ready to be FORCED to run with chains. Drive a slow truck with no power and be treated like dog $#!*. Oh and be ready to pay them to idle which you will have to cause the batteries won't hold power for more then an hour or two.

Kabar I appreciate your opinion, but you are in the wrong thread. Hearing you whine and moan about how bad you had it there is starting to get old. There is another thread out there for you to air out all your complaints about how bad things were for you. Hopefully you have found a place where you can be happy and enjoy your time on the road, maybe you should post on their thread?

A: I will post on every thread I find about MAY. This company is so bad the make Swift look good. It should be screamed from every mnt top so every driver knows to stay the hell await from this $#!% hole company.

B: I have found a much better place to work where drivers a treated as the professionals they are and not micromanaged or told every little thing to do.
