I spoke to them about 3 weeks ago and they were not hiring out of Phoenix, but give them a call to find out if that changed.

Your signature...I feel your pain. I imagine a scene in the not too distant future, when there are billions of humming zombies just shuffling about...(I.E. "I am legend") and no more humans to eat. That's how the truck industry is right now. 5 million screaming guys waiting to jump in the first seat they find open, and only 20 slots for that same 5 million.
Good luck to you brother. Everyone hang in there, it's what we've been doing, it's what we'll have to keep doing.
If KB is hating on a "favorite company" thread, I'd like to know where he's posting all the positive info. Hey K, can you shoot us a link or something?
God bless.

KB doesn't have anything positive to say. Ironic that he also never mentions where he is working now. Fact is, he probably got fired by May and is bitter because he couldn't cut it. If it's really been two years since you *cough cough* quit May, isn't it time to move on? Live in the past much?
Thank God the QC doesn't have big red font. -
Kabar works for knight refrigerated and thinks the sun rises and sets with that company, i know someone who works there and has told me how bad that place can be, also theres very little communication there.

I drove for MTC for about 8mo. they suck. they are not a co. you want right outta driving school they might be o.k. if you are team driver but i doubt that too.

May has been and is a decent Co. for me, been here 21 months so far.

..well the topic is "discuss your favorite trucking co. here" & i wish when someone says it's a good place to work you'd tell us what the "good" is.. just saying it's decent doesn't tell us "why" it's decent, lets hear what the good part is.. just like saying a bad company "sucks" isn't a good explanation either; so when someone gives us some examples why it's good or bad, that lends more credence to their opinion.
big wheels and IdahoNewbee Thank this. -
I think a "jersey turn" as I understand it and experience it, is instead of getting in the left lane or left turn lane, stop, then make your left turn.....is your in the right lane coming up to the intersection you want to go left at, and will make a right turn on an exit road just before intersection and kinda curve to the right then left to a stop sign, turn left and then stop at a light at the road you were just coming down, when light goes green.....cross over the road and continue in your direction you are going. NJ is not noted for having your "normal" left turns like every other state in the country. I guess it makes sense...ie, you dont have to turn directly into traffic from a stop I think is the reasoning.
Poobah Thanks this. -
