I have found it useful in only one case.
But why add bling to block it?
It does no harm and you don't even notice it unless you are looking.
And if it bothers you so much, simply remove it and put it in a side box.
So much drama over a mirror.Diesel Dave and HoneyBadger67 Thank this. -
That little mirror is required so you can check to see if a "Hobo" is riding on your passenger steps.

That would be getting removed at first scale I crossed here in Canada it’s too wide . He may be using mirror to help hold it on since it’s only a glue strip holding it.

It's too small to check the "skirts" in the car to the right as you pass them.

D.Tibbitt and buzzarddriver Thank this.

Regarding the Post Topic:
I NEVER CLEANED those mirrors except when going thru the Fuel Bay of a local Route Turn at END of trip.

I like the one I heard (maybe 2008?) somewhere Midwest U.S.A., about some Driver, on a C.B. that wanted some Woman Passenger in a next Lane Truck to "Show Me Yur Hooters".
She promptly got outta the seat and grabbed two OWLS!
Driver almost wrecked up with Laughter.

Seemed plausible considering all the weird stuff happening daily On Any Tar-Sealed Route.
