shouldnt be any problem with your 14 hours longest wait is the landfill first thing in the morning so I'd load in nyc first then go to landfill instead of preloading and worst case is your running paper logs so you'll never run out of hours.

McLane in Syracuse is too much to commute. You from around the area? I'm 15min south of Binghamton a few miles off 81s. If I do take another food service gig it will be Maines, 5mi from home. If your from the area im sure you must know Willow Run Food's. I came from there and will never ever go back.

McLane has another yard in Jessup pa, way closer than Syracuse is. I really hate food service with a passion, but the way it looks is either mbi or maines. the latter said they'd hire me in a heartbeat. Good local gigs im either too young (22) or not enough exp.

@poppapump1332 round trip is 500-520mi give or take. 160ish miles from my house to the GW, add maybe 15 to Brooklyn, 250 up to painted post and 85-90mi back to the house. 515/60mph 8.5 hrs driving in a perfect world, then loading and un load. I'd feel a lot better about it if I was in one of their kw sleepers and loose leafing it. Trying that in a day cab no thanks, I'll sleep in the truck 2-3 nights a week for 1375 gross. I'm gonna give it a shot, it may be trash but it sure beats 2 wheeling everything off a 48 w/no liftgate.

My dad would rather me go to maines but im gonna kick myself if I don't at least try it out. For someone my age and only a yr exp you can't beat it as long as you get a halfway decent rig. Its better than running the road for a crap mega like most new guys do.

    HAPPY NEW YEARS

Try giving Local 693 a call in Binghamton NY. Can't find much about them so idk what they have for work. If I find anything I'll post the link.

    Best of luck to you!
