I know this forum has helped me a ton but just in case someone was wondering about getting on driving with no experience I literally just got off the phone for an interview with MBI and was told the following
Orientation:
5 days at $20 an hour which includes a “few days” on mochup rigs and getting all oil field “certs”
Training:
2-4 weeks at $20 an hour until you get signed off on
Pay after training:
25% a load, stated possibly 6-7 loads a day at $1.30-$1.40 per barrel so roughly 3-400 a day. No bonuses
Housing:
Room in a single wide $250.00 a month
Insurance:
No clue for single but a family was “363 every two weeks”
Paid by weekly
Schedule 4x2 but can do 5x1
Sounds like a decent gig and no clue if this is all true just what the recruiter said so it’s all I got. Like I said just wanted to put it out there in case someone wanted to know.

If it's your first oilfield job, take it, get a few months experience, and use MBI as a stepping stone to a better job. They're the Swift of the oilfield. Use them to get your foot in the door, and move on.
4wayflashers, SavageMuffin, rabbiporkchop and 1 other person Thank this. -
Just searched up MBI out of curiosity. Yeah, that spiel *was* accurate... I was making $23/hr nights, non-exempt before the 2014-2015 crash. That's when they changed to percentage, and I got the hell outta Dodge!
They got too big for their own britches and went bankrupt last year. Missouri Basin Well Service (MBI) is no more.Crude Truckin' Thanks this. -

That family insurance is really good! My husbands company is charging $1500 a month for family. So basically we are uninsured AGAIN!
