I have been driving for 14 years I'm 32 years old and I'm employed with MBM I have been with them for 2 years out of their taylorville illinois center I have worked for sygma arrow who went out of business prime inc evans equipment Steelman bowling transportation the original jack in the box transportation mclanes and now MBm. Out of all of those companies I have never felt as wanted and as important to any of my jobs as MBM makes me feel I go above and beyond for them because they listen to me and take care of whatever issues I'm having they give me the freedomn to handle my issues with my customers and any issue I have on my own until it becomes something that is beyond my reach I get paid very well and don't have to deal with other drivers or drama you are judged on your performance and your skill and you will be successful at MBM if you are good under pressure and able to give 150 per cent to your job yes family is important but remember that the rewards are very rewarding if you put your dedication into it I have 2 routes I have 13 stops on each route routes take 2 days 2 complete I unload around 80 thousand lbs a week I also travel to other centers I wouldn't have done this for any other job but MBM makes me feel important I have never really enjoyed any of my jobs until I came here . Now to be honest its old school paper logs lots of paperwork and not the best equipment but the way you feel when you get home and on payday is well worth it 50 per cent of my paycheck goes to child support and alimony and I still bring home a awesome paycheck. With all jobs thou if u don't complain and you do your job your bosses will be happy but at MBM you will learn mental toughness because this job getting done depends on you its not for the weak or someone who can't keep up but if your strong smart and a strong safe driver and worker MBM is the place for you

Duck: From what I understand each and every MBM differs from the next, all I know is you can make good money there. Work Hard and Smart and you will make it. Idk of any other jobs that pay as well. And if it TRULY does turn out to be that hard, well, getting a OTR job is a snap. I am a OTR driver with 3 years out here, ready to be home regularly and make good money. They seem to fit the bill. If you know of a better gig out there PLEASE let me know.

If they treat drivers the way they treat their inbound drivers, I wouldn't work there either. Deliver to the Denver warehouse all the time, wow, what idiots. My wife is friends with one of their office people, she feels bad for the way the drivers (both sides) are treated, it's not the most pleasant for her either. She's a single mom so that's the only reason she sticks around.
