fnlou88,Hey. Are you still with McElroy ? I noticed that you run out of N.C. What is your primary running area ? How is the work/miles ? Any info you can give would be appreciated. Thanks, Joe

Yes I am still with McElroy. Got home today about 12:00pm. Here was my past week:
Sunday - Loaded in Skippers, VA, delivered to Dickson City PA. Empty: 98 miles, Loaded: 570 miles.
Monday - Loaded in Deposit, NY, delivered to Suwanee, GA on Wednesday. Empty: 58 miles, Loaded: 860 miles.
Wednesday late (thursday morn) - Loaded in Bridgeport, AL, delivered to Blowing Rock, NC. Empty: 165 miles, Loaded: 306 miles.
Thursday - Loaded in Old Fort, NC to be delivered to Reading PA on Monday. Empty: 66 miles, Loaded: 568.
So, I will turn in my bills for all but the load that is on me now today, and get paid next Friday for 2057 miles at (my current rate) of 41 cents per mile.
Hope that helps!ironhand Thanks this. -

Keep me in the loop. I'm desperately waiting on an answer from them early this week and before I leave for Werner orientation next Monday!

fnlou88, if youre getting paid for 2057 miles how many miles did you actually drive? I know for a fact Mcelroy is taking 8% of each load miles off of what they are paying you per load. for example.. Proctor WV /to somewhere in VA ...drove 390 miles but only got paid for 260 miles and the bill states 360 miles on it or are you the only one theyre not doing this to? this is a constant that i see every week now. This equates to about 600 miles per week of lost wages at an average of 5 loads delivered over 600 drivers equaling $12,000.00 per week of unpaid wages to those drivers. Are you seeing this as well?
