McElroy Truck Lines for Newbies.

Quick question for the McElroy drivers... had a recruiter come into the school yesterday and liked his schpeel about the company and just wondering if any drivers know our could find out something for me. The recruited disappeared before I had a chance to corner him and honestly I'd rather not waste there time worth this question. But of course I'm happy to waste your time. Ha.

Anyway, the flyer mentions a requirement of having a clean cut and neat appearance. Do any drivers know if that policy means visible tattoos are out? Like"no way to hide them" kinda tattoos?

I have an application sitting in front of me and can't decide if I should fill it out and send it in.

While I was with McElroy I saw several drivers with tats. A guy I went thru training with had one down an arm & onto the back of his hand. It wasn't a "sleeve" tattoo, but it did cover a lot if his arm & hand. I never heard the trainers say a word about it.

 

They now start at .43 a mile up from .40 and paid training is $500 WK up from $450 WK.

Nice! I wish you all the best! Not sure where you live in AL, but if it's northwest AL, who knows...you might end up with the same driver trainer I had. He lives in northeast MS. They try to put trainees with a trainer that lives close to them. Of course, it really depends upon availability.
