I'd hardly call it being scared of heavy labor, cause I'm in pretty good shape for my age.

Preference is really what it boils down to. Who wants to be dead tired after every shift?
Definitely not a knock on anyone who is working there, more power to ya.

Great pay and benefits for the toll the job takes on ya back and knees after 10 years lol.

I'm use to physical labor I guess. Actually I'm not " dead tired " after work. I'm just saying this job is not for every "body" I hear a lot of guys that say they don't mind physical labor when the transportation manager and hr reiterates that is is physical labor. People will respond with everything saying yeah I can do it. But quits after a week or so. The guys that normally stays here longer are the guys that actually did physical work, instead of guys that are " in good shape" its actually easy believe it or not just as long as there is no hiccups along the way, loads that are bad( falling over, damage, loaded backwards, etc.) locks changed, truck breakdown, other than that it's easy breezy I rather work harder for more days at home with my family.

    sherlock510 Thanks this.

The give u the best hand carts so your knees and back take no near the stress as the other food services. If u get a chance it's the best food service job there is the money is the best in this part of the industry and when u get close or over 2 to 1 on ur 401 k and other great perks u can't go wrong. I was an idiot for leaving but running teams u need to really trust your partner and mine sacred me to the point I had to leave though now I wish I never did
