almost 34 hrs sitting at this facility and nobody in charge would talk to drivers . My broker who manages the account stepped up and got me $900 extra on load so shout out to Charles at Uber Freight . This guy did everything he was supposed to and stayed in touch with me the whole time .
I did a delivery to McLane here in Goodyear Arizona for my neighbor, arrived approximately 2:15pm for 3 o’clock appointment. my neighbor came out to relieve me approximately 4:15 PM and I asked the guard when do you think they’ll get me in. He said that they should give me a door by 5 PM. I went home and my neighbor called me the next day to let me know that he got a door at 5 PM and they finished unloading him at about midnight. I don’t know how you guys deal with these grocery warehouses.
I did it once or twice and that was it . why drivers don’t go postal after spring for days at those places or just refuse to take those loads , I have no idea. all I know is that if it’s food, you’re gonna get dicked around for many hours with no pay.
