McLeod Express... Being Audited????

    Man, it is hilarious! Just found out from one of their drivers that Mcleod Express is being audited by DOT!:biggrin_25523: About #### time! She said DOT was coming back to audit them in sixty days. LOL!

    No #### wonder-they got an extremely bad safety rating!

    I used to work for them and I have to say they are the worst company I have ever worked for! They will do what they can to skim you out of the guarantee. Absolutely bad planning, very limited fuel stops, horrible & brokedown equipment. They always pick up these BS broker loads and want to send a tractor with 53 ft trailer where only six wheelers should go. They always want the driver to run illegal to cover these BS loads too!

    Man, if you work for them or used to and have a problem with their their less than kosher business practices, maybe it's time to call 1-888-DOT-SAFT. Let 'em know where the bodies are!:biggrin_25522:

    Might be worth doing. They were really stupid at times.

    Last run, they wanted me up all day and leave at 5pm to be at the dock in another town at 7 pm. Load at real appt time of 10 and drive all night to a town by Detroit in a Blizzard and be there by 5 am. Real appt 7 am.

    After you were empty and on your 10 hour break, they were going to send me to get reloaded and do it again the next night. Guess they expected me to hide the reload.

    Sounds like another doosy company they really don't respect the drivers

    Or the public making or excepting people too run like that all the time

    I know drivers make stories just a lil bigger but still pretty ######

    yea they got audited and they were over on the log book side of things.. so now they are goin back and lookin thru the last 6 months of drivers logs and goin after drivers who were cheatin..

    imagine that goin after someone who they made run that way with there very lousy planning..

    i honestly doont think it will help tho .. they still run there drivers who arent on e logs that way .. tho in away i actually dont mind. i made over 50k with them this year .. tho i dont see them makin it once they go to all elogs there just not organised enough and wont listen to what driver imput they get

    When you consider the amount that those fines can cost a driver,

    PER violation !!!!!


    50K will seem like chicken feed.........

    ohh welll will run it till they burn me .. not to worried im not one of the ones there after . no one makes u run illegal.. u can refuse under the fact of it bein not legal.they alway find one of us who wil run it no matter what. ohh well.. 1 week til vacation time.. not worried.. if they go away will go else where. no harm.. happy holidays everyone.

    McLeod is a terrible company. Been there and done that. Safety, shop, dispatch, personnel, etc all a joke! !!!
