...oh no, I know one of those reviewers. I hope they get squared away.

But yeah, Meadow Lark's in a tough spot. A customer of mine who's customer work works with them had one of their agents cryptically tell him that things are not going well. It sounded like they might also be having payroll issues on top of everything else. Mind you, third party (literal) telephone game, but still. Not ideal.

At what point do the load boards bear some responsibility for allowing them to keep their subscription and continuing to post loads?

That's a question for far better legal minds than mine. They're not insolvent (yet) so I honestly don't know. And they are paying some invoices.

I'd also need to look at the contracts between the boards and everyone involved. I'm sure that there's a lot of legalese that absolves them of metaphorical sin.

Maybe responsibility wasn’t the correct word. I wasn’t talking about people going back on the boards to try and get money. It’s just odd to me how they are allowed to keep posting loads. I realize it’s a catch 22 because they need to move the loads to generate income but that money also doesn’t seem to be making it where it should be going.

As long as they have an active bond they can keep posting. They have went through a couple of different bonds already

My question is how long are bonding companies going to keep covering 'em. Because, dang.

Using Pacific Financial now. Hard to get money out of them. Won't haul for anyone who has them as a bond.

Reason number 431 why I only pay for “basic” load board subscriptions. As long as the TQL ‘s of the world are allowed to crap flood the board is still reason number 1.

The bond company they were under when I had hauled the load they still haven’t paid me for just sent emails stating that they received over 500 claims. Looks like they will be paying out in $10’s. My luck.
