Mechanic in Bethany CT

Hello. I'm an owner-operator and wanted to tell about awesome service I received over the weekend.

I was supposed to pick up a load at Laticrete in Bethany Friday. I got there Friday evening and checked in and when I got back to my truck it wouldn't start. I turned it over a few times and could hear the starter spinning and whining but the engine wouldn't engage. This was at 2:30 on a Friday evening.

I started calling for a service call and in the mean time I hadn't been assigned a door yet at the shipper. The first time I called DiGennaro Service all their trucks were out. I called some other place about 45 min away but DiGennaro called me back and I hung up with the other place and committed to DiGennaro coming over to have a look.

It was the starter but it couldn't be fixed there in the parking lot or by the end of the day. The shipper gave me a door and told me I could come back Saturday and sign the bills. DiGennaro said they would have the truck fixed Saturday.

They unhooked my truck and put my trailer in the door assigned using another of their trucks and towed me to their facility with their road grader which was a block up the road and then took me to the hotel of my choice for the night.

Before I could even get out of bed Saturday they had my truck fixed and called waking me up saying they were on their way to get me because the truck was running. They took me to sign the bol before going to pay for the truck repair.

The bill was cheap ya'll. There was the service call, 3 techs, using a truck to move my trailer, a tow, a run to the parts store, and the time for the actual repair. Still under a $1000. Awesome service.... I'm burning up in Texas now with the load delivered.
