Mechanic signature on DVIR

He's from Canada (I know, but we like him despite that ) so FMCSA does not apply anyway. I think Canada still requires a dvir always (although I'm not positive)
In either case unless there is a specific regulation stating otherwise I cannot see how it would be wrong. You did, after all, do the work.
