Mechanics lack of knowledge regarding shutdown events, codes etc??

If you can capture a code. Give the manual that contains a stack of codes for your specific engine. Then inform mechanic the trouble code and have him fix the root cause of the shutdown. WHatever it may be.
If mechanic gives you smoke and flak, find another mechanic. Repeat until you find the trouble and fix it.
This is the one thing I hate to the bottom of my heart with the cursed computers, leak a little bit of coolant then it throws a code and shut down it's ######## to jam a clip into the sensor and nurse it another 100 miles.pbrstreetgang Thanks this. -
