Mechanics lack of knowledge regarding shutdown events, codes etc??

    i've been tempted to do this and just never see my family again haha. anyway i keep hearing rumors that the government is going to require shops to refuse to work on modified trucks - probably all garbage just like most of the crap ya hear out here

    WELL... there might be a kernel of truth somewhere. Who knows.

    There was a law passed for software aimed at preventing pirating for video tapes and games for computers back in 98 I think.

    Someone stated theoratically due to this law, we don't own the trucks because we don't own the software written by the author for those trucks (And cars...) theoratically if the Law stands up, no one owns anything that contains software outright. They would be liable.

    It might help if you have them do a diagnostic on it where they hook it up to a computer and give you a print out of the faults. Maybe then they would know where to begin. Just a suggestion.
