I’m looking into getting a Cascadia and wanting the know which years have the least amount of sensor issues and other problems. I’m either going to get one with an ISX or one that has a series 60 swap. Don’t want a DD at all.
Mechanics what year Cascadias are the least problematic?

A 60 swapped Cascadia is likely to have been bubbad' together. Keep that in mind.

If you want a Series 60, get an FLD 120. Won’t have as many sensors either. And overall, will likely be a more solid truckducnut, singlescrewshaker, Bean Jr. and 1 other person Thank this.

I’ve seen really clean swaps with everything working including steering wheel buttons when they use a 14L. For some reason they have issues with the 12.7 and the steering wheel buttons.singlescrewshaker Thanks this.

Non aero, don’t like the sleeper, and ride is not as good. If sticking to older I’d buy more 9900i’s. Columbias and century’s are an option as well but the dash cracks easily and the rest of the interior quality ain’t great.singlescrewshaker Thanks this.

A buddy has a cascadia with a isx it’s horrendous on fuel compared to a DD15 plus needs a turbo every two years or so. He doesn’t idle at all either.

Last truck i drove was 2021 Cascadia with X15. Phenomenal fuel mileage,,best id ever experienced and that model was the least problematic…previous Cascadia s id driven were constantly breaking down.
Also solid truck and good ride..Dadetrucking305 Thanks this.
