med card and not currently driving...

Here in Md.,you can put your CDL on the shelf for one year,without renewing your physical,and they downgrade your license.If you don't get a physical within the year,the downgrade is permanent,unless you retest,physical the whole deal again.At least that's how they explained it to me.I'm retired,drove for over 45 years,42 with my own rig.Still have my AE license with hazmat,tanker,double,triple,and a Twic. My physical was due last month,was going to give it up,but I just couldn't do it,would be like a carpenter or mechanic giving up his tools.Spent $90.and got another 2 year DOT physical,what the hell.
