    Well if you/me got this medallion from Grandfather we would be earning good money.
    I'm in Chicago limousine service and know little bit about taxi.

    taxi drivers (like O/O) in Chicago if you lease car for 24/7 you are paying 650$ a week, if you do shift 350$ plus fuel, IPass, airport tax and etc. and it is not lease to own.

    to become Chicago cab driver you have to take 1 week school and test, then every year go for license renewal.

    1 week school and test every year? I'm thinking they need a year of school and a retest both written and driving every 6 months. People from Chicago are abosulutely bat #### insane during rush hour.
