I ahve BC/BS of Indiana and pay $118 month with dental. I have a 80/20 split with a $1,500 deductable, and $35 co-pay for doctors with 2 free bi-annual check-ups. I have not been to the doctors office in 3 years (knock on wood) and don't plan on going. I do however save $$$ on my prescriptions, more than what my monthly cost is, so i actually save more money that it costs me if I didn't have it

My meds are $375 month on my own, but only $125 with my insurance.... do the math ;)

I have a BCBS health plan that has a $5 million lifetime payout. It is a higher deductible plan tied to a health savings account for the minor stuff. Wife and I in our mid 50's, I smoke, she has ongoing thyroid condition requiring meds. Our policy is $433 a month. Will go up, like everyone else's, as Obamacare mandates continue to kick in.
