Yep you are right. The waiver covers the part you failed (eye test) for your card. I was told I need to carry the card that is marked I need the waiver, the waiver forum from my state, long form so if some one wants to see just what is wrong and need the waiver for and your CDL (I have a class B now, going for my class A) and permit with me at all times.
Also note my med card is only good for 1 year so when the time comes it should be fun to see how that goes with the waiver.

At school when I out on the road the first time I was with someone that has a class A CDL so I did not carry the waiver with me at that time but have since put my long forum & all state waiver papers in a small folder that I will take with me just in case we get pulled over ;) and yes we have to make sure our log books are up to date & time before we hit the road.

    So, 60 percent.
That would be a near failing (or failing) score in any school.

All it means is that you got lucky that day by guessing the correct result more than 50 percent of the time.
What happens when you guess wrongly, at the wrong time?

A person with one eye has NO depth perception. Nor can they see with peripheral vision enough.
They have no business driving a big truck, because they are inherently unsafe.

I am not trying to be judgmental or contrary.
I am just being reasonable with known facts.

And I again ask for anyone to blind one eye and hit the road, and back into a dock or between two trucks in a truck stop.
Can you really do it safely?

First of all I didn't guess in the perception test. And covering one eye and trying to back is totally different than being completely blind and doing it... Everyone thinks they can cover a eye and know what its like, it's not the same. And there are plenty that are blind in a eye that drive.
