    Yes you will pass.
If a control substance shows on your panel, the testing facility will call you and ask for the prescription number, pharmacy, and doctors number for verification.
If all is verified you cannot fail.

It doesn't work that way. The testing center DOES NOT contact a driver. The MRO is supposed to contact you and see if you have a legit reason to have these substances in your body! If the MRO is happy with the information you give them, they will notify your carrier of the same. I would also direct you to my post # 12. In that link to the FMCSA they tell a driver how to do this. I MUST caution drivers to make dang sure YOU DO NOT drive a CMV and even be on duty with these substances in your body EVEN WITH A LEGAL RX, you also MUST have a MEs OK, that's PER the link in my post #12.

I was in fact contacted by the testing center when I failed for codeine.
I had just recovered from pneumonia and they verified with the above stated.

First, what do you mean by testing center? The collection site or the lab?
The collection site, by law, simply takes the sample does the paperwork and sends it to the lab. From there they have nothing to do with it. The lab runs their tests and gives the results to an MRO. If all is good the MRO reports a good test. If the results come back hot, the MRO contacts the driver and goes from there.

Maybe you misheard or misunderstood, but, again, legally the testing site (collection site) has nothing to do with the sample once sent into the lab.

Go read Moose's links to see the process.

I was considering getting a physical to drive part time/fill in for an O/O running local stuff around here. But I had to start taking a blood thinner -Eliquis- and not sure the people he runs for would go for it. I'll probably ask him after the first of the year.
As far as a short term way to quickly lower B/P, like right before the test, I understand that Viagra works for that, among other things.

I'm trying to find a nice way of saying this.... Are you really that naive?
    1. Drug dealer down the street.
    2. Friend from work who is known to "help out". for a fee.
    3. Friends and family that have "extra".
    4. Ask my 14 year old daughter. I'm sure she knows the dealers at her high school. I know I did at that age, even if I didn't touch the stuff.

Yes, but these medicines suck. They are not fun. Weed and drugs may be fun, but muscle relaxers are horrible. They give you dry mouth and all other crappy side effects

I didn’t get the Physical today. They need my EF reading from an Echocardiogram. Has to be above 40%. Said I’ll only get a one yr. cert. It’s a measure of heart function. I’m sure mines above 40%. It’s on record at my Cardiologist. Normal is 50-53% for my age. Hoping it isn’t a problem. I’m in a lot better shape than a lot of Drivers I see. Considering recent events. Some have legs swollen so big, overweight, young guys too. it’s sad to see.
