Melton. Great on paper, awful in practice.

Unfortunately a lot of these “Mom and Pop” companies require a certain amount of years experience. And even then some of those companies made it here on the bad company forum.
Just because the company isn’t as big as a mega doesn’t guarantee it’s a good company.

 

Melton does suck.........

 

Mom and pop have issues to. Some won't pay healthcare anymore, politics, favoritism, and so on and so on.

Oh and there's the issue when pop passes on, son takes over, OD on booger sugar, and grandson runs company into debt, and into the ground

 

Do I really need to direct you to the hundreds of posts about mom & pops screwing their drivers?
Less BS & less of everything elses in many cases. OTR is a crapshoot big or small, the testimonials suggest that over the years I've been in the industry.

Well I typically cruise in the low to mid 60's. And I get passed by every Melton driver on the road.

I will say 75% can't hold their lane though.

 

Its hard to hold your lane while swigging a red bull from the right hand and reading a text with the left hand.
