Memorial day restrictions

Some states you can't run on the weekend if you are oversized.. It has been so long since I did it but I am sure they are still out there...

 

don't know why, but one year, Memorial day weekend on a Sat, it to me six hours, to go from just above L. A. to San Diego on I5. No wrecks, nothing but a lot of cars...

 

True story that just happened: Friday night I pull into a pilot and park next to an o/s. I ask him "hey are you shut down here all weekend? Bummer!". He says "No, why?". I tell him that every time I've pulled o/s every permit says no holiday weekend driving. He says "oh I haven't looked". Woke up sat morning and he was gone. Haha.
