Memphis Icing Update 1 am 12-9-2018 plus northern Arkansas road update.

Memphis is icing over slowly and surely as is I-40 into Arkansas.

I do not carry TennDOT road information and that will have to be a whole different source. I use iDrive Arkansas as my source. (There are live cameras here and there you can view in real time to determine for yourself)

Icing status shows memphis major interstates and connectors icing over this hour as I write this.

There is a map of I-55 and J'Boro NE arkansas in particular showing real time road situation by color. Ice, slush, spots etc.

J'Boro in the north east part of the state has a formal winter storm warning all the way up to the st. francis and paducah Ky area for this Am.

We are recognizing ice and early snow issues here and if you are smart you would have been well out of here or holed up snug and warm in your sleeper waiting until daylight. That will bring 42 degree weather after 9:30 am for all day until below 32 after 8PM tonight.
