    @not4hire - Good post, but Obama sent a plane load of palletized & in boxes and barrels of cash to the leader of Iran before he left the White House. Trump even mentioned it a few times. The liberal press ignores it because they feel if Obama did it, it's ok.

    I'm aware of that.

    I'm also aware that it was Iran's money being returned to them and that it was the appropriate action given the political climate and state of sanctions at the time. Whether or not it was appropriate to lift the prior sanctions and engage Iran at the time is a separate conversation for a separate thread. Don't sidetrack this discussion with unrelated issues.

    They do in certain instances though. Like in this case where Huawei bought tech from the US. This makes US a party, and the business of the US. They then took that tech and sold it to Iran knowing that there are sanctions in place
    If it was selling Chinese tech to the Iranians you would be right in that's none of the US's business. That's not what happened though.
