Mentoring advice for a trucker hopeful :-)

    There is a whole section here for W/S. I drive team flatbed for them. They do NOT do the 30 day training anymore. You can go to another school then go through their 10-day orientation (which is more like an on-the-job interview). Please note that they DO send home drivers who they feel can't deal with driving alone right away or who have failed to disclose everything, because that's what you do: go on the road immediately without a trainer. They are a family-style outfit and people know you there by name.

    The main terminal is in Missoula, MT, and orientation is done either there or at the Conover, NC, location. They have terminals largely in the west and east.
