If I'd have known that I'd have just bought another truck, here all along I just thought it was cause I was scary looking....
American-Trucker Thanks this. -
You do but they end up being the wrong number...Hello, Joes Pizza

Seriously, be careful with and who you deal with. There are alot of whacko's out there. My last one before she me, met a guy online... long story short, he ended up being a stalker and she ended up getting a restraining order and moving. Then I met her and she was a whacko too, lol.
But the internet is a very resourceful tool. I've found old high school friends. I've built a family tree with 74 relatives from Europe I didn't know about. I even went back 4 generations.
For a woman, I would do my homework and find their skeletons. You can get on people finder and even do background checks.
Searching is kind of fun too.
Yes, change his ringtone to the Halloween theme song and don't answer it.

Sure some of those women on the dating sites are psycho.

I'd dont think i've ever met a woman that wasnt crazy in one way or another lol
American TruckerJarhed1964, Les2 and homme Thank this. -
I don't work in the transportation industry so take it for what it's worth.
Absolutely talk to your employer and don't put it off. You are *SO* lucky that you found out when you did. I don't have a clue what is possible with regards to Schneider's vulnerabilities but YOURS would be at LEAST as concerning as theirs if it were me. There's a lot of personal information that can be revealed for a very small fee (and free!) when starting with an even smaller bit of original information- like a telephone number. At minimum, I'd change all my passwords, get a new cell phone and probably even change banks.
Good luck! -
The first red flag would've been his claim of being a retired Green Beret. Falsified and excessively embellished claims of military service and grandeur are as numerous out here as the trucks are. One example, a few weeks back, I happened across a driver who claimed he was an Army Ranger, saw action in Grenada, Panama, Desert Storm, and Somalia, retired in 1995. As "proof" of this claim, he wore his tan beret he was issued in the Rangers, unshaven and unformed, with a 505th PIR flash, and Master Sergeant rank insignia pinned through it. Any ex-Army types want to point out the multitude of flaws here?
Take all such claims with a grain of salt. Sorry to those of you who actually are legit, but the multitudes of poseurs out there makes it necessary to do such.
As for the guy, just ignore him. Don't answer his calls, block his number. Always find out who you're dealing with. -
And to think you could have met all the weirdos you could handle right here, you had to find one on the road!

A guy led about his background to impress a woman, shocking!...

I was doing laundry one day and stepped out for a smoke. This old man approaches me and tells me his life story. He was a general in the British Royal Army. I was listening the whole time, yeah, yeah, yeah.
At least he had a good imagination.

Agreed, still,I worry one day someone will tell me the TRUTH about themselves, and,of course,I wont believe em...And I thought you QUIT smokin CC..
