If you call that workin' on the road......OK the street. Anyway, we got married and have been for 24 years. I left EMS and became a Cop just like dear ol Dad, and she later got burned out from stress. She does Ebay stuff and works a part-timer. We've been apart before in our marriage, because of work, so we'll be able to handle it when I start driving. We live out in the sticks. She's a good home steader and care taker. She's also a competition shooter, so...... with her, a Colt 45, the Doberman, the Weenie Dawg, well...... she's pretty secure. And she cooks good and makes d*mn good coffee.
met your match on the road?

I met my wife online last year. It was love at first sight. And at second sight, and at third sight. At every other site till the wedding was over. Than I figured out that when I married Mrs. right her last name was always,LOL. Just kidding. She is the best thing that has happened to me. I even get along well with the inlaws. Now is that a good sign or what?

meeting someone on the road is a rarity, especially since you may not see that person again being that you are always on the move.actually it would be a great idea to have a site where single drivers could meet and form relationships/marriage that would be a win-win if a man could meet a lady to share a life with and run team together bringing more income into the home.unfortunately most single women driving hear enough BS from male drivers that they keep to themselves while on the road.was talking to this gal at the TA who was telling me about all the come-ons she hears on the radio and such, that she just minds her own business and avoids most of the guys she meets because in her own words "they just want to get down her pants".she was right because as we were sitting there having a meal (myself and 2 other guys) at the drivers counter, and we were all laughing and joking about our experiences on the road(she had some funny ones too),this guy comes up and sits down and within minutes began hitting on her with come-ons(like he was god's gift to women).needless to say she finished her meal at a much quicker pace, said C-YA to the rest of us and split to the privacy of her truck.seen her the following morning and she apologized for cutting out on the group the night before, but she said she was sick of the BS she hears just because she is attractive and drives a truck.too bad i couldn't have got to know her better but she was heading north and i was running east.

Yeah Jeff,
You got a great idea about single driver website or date site. As for the women driver its really sad that people want to get into there pants
. I have the most respect for women drivers, i get so angry when i hear other drivers saying rude, disgusting comments to them.
Keep it safe drivers!

actually, with all the activity on this site-maybe a section could be added for guys and gals to meet.if i knew how to set up a website that could run itself-i would do so.the rules would be simple--no disrespectfull dialouge allowed and all posts would have to be made by DRIVERS only! and of course there would be no section for "alternative lifestyles". heterosexual ONLY!!!

You start off with a good idea, but why does everything have to turn into homosexual bashing? Who cares if they want to hook up too? They are out there doing the same job, struggling with the same issue of how to build a relationship, why be so negative?
-
i'm not bashing them,it's just that i wouldn't endorse that kind of behavior since it does nothing to help men meet women drivers or women to meet men drivers.sorry if i offended you or anyone else,it's just getting tougher for a normal guy to meet a normal gal in this day and age with all this "alternative" stuff going on. and then when the gay guy starts hitting on the straight guy via e-mail or the straight guy soliciting the lesbian gal-well you see the problems that this would create---essentially destroying the original plan of the site.that was the basis of my statement,i have checked out sites like match.com and have recieved those kind of replies even though i did not request nor desire those kind of replies-that's all
