    I'm glad Im not a licensed driver in the US. You guys need Endorsements to stop at a coffee shop it seems.

    From what I see running up and down I-65 between Indy and KY. pretty dang hard for some

    Indiana has the requirement if over 5,000 lbs picking up and unloan instate. I took test on line. $25.00

    As far as I know we don't need any endorsements for that, yet!

    Just found this thread. I am studying for my NY Coil endorsement and saw the information about Alabama. I looked at the links the other poster provided (some were dead) but I could not find an answer to my question: If I have a NY Metal Coil endorsement do I still need the Alabama certification too if I deliver a coil to AL?

    Funny... I just picked up a load of coils out of the Mobile area last week. Never knew I needed a certificate to get it and the company never asked if I had one.

    I know I got Alabama Coil Certified during orientation with Western Express a couple of years back. Will probably get certified again when I get back on the road pulling a flat....

    As I recall, the test was pretty much common sense. A bunch of pictures, you got to choose which one you would pull down the road. Really simple, actually.
