    I'd worry more about rail
Warren Buffett didn't buy up all the railroads a few years ago just cuz he likes choo choos
I lost my Brownsville dedicated to rail.

I have seen Mexico plated trucks as far north as upstate New York. Always clean, well kept trucks and drivers. I have spoken to a few and they are hard working family men, just like me. Underpaid compared to us but paid well compared to the drivers that stay in Mexico. Usually more courteous on the road than their Canadian counterparts, at least the Quebec truckers I run i to daily on I-90 and I-87.

Yawn ... guys for the past 11 or 12 years, they have had Mexican trucks on our roads and they come through this area on their way to Canada or to the auto companies. GM and Ford both have deliveries of parts directly from Mexico and they pick empty trailers and haul them back to their plants in Mexico or in the case of Ford they haul back parts for the car assembly lines.

    QuietStorm Thanks this.

They oughta be. They have been running north of the border since the Nafta days. I first saw them back in the mid to late 90's and it was very specific to the equiptment being absolutely first class and so new that there is no point inspecting them.

Once you got down to the Rio and crossed it, you go back to the 50's like in two miles. The equiptment that does not come north date from that time period it seems. Held together with bailing wire and a prayer.

Why don't we Americans deliver our loads to Mexico? Serious question.
