    Absolutely true. More expensive fuel, food, wages, fuel tax and the salt takes its toll on trucks too but currently the big equalizer is the exchange rate.

    And they solved that easily by opening trucking companies in the US with transload warehouses in border towns. I go to Otay Mesa CA a lot and there is a bunch of them there
