The thing I don't like about any sort of auto inflation system is that they make it a pain to diagnose leakers since you cant manually check the cold pressure with a gauge. They mask the issue by adding air. This stuff is for big fleets who assume the drivers wont be doing their job and checking the pressures regularly. (Safe assumption)

Overthinking a simple problem. If poor pretrips and running low pressure is such an issue, why wouldn't a cheaper tire monitoring system solve it? They've been out for truck for years and have been a requirement on cars since 2007?? They work and are relatively trouble free.
Trailer systems are much simpler and have become reliable. You can get a system for about $500. That makes sense, if it saves 1 road failure is basically paid for itself. But $2400 for this system? You can buy an aftermarket truck tire monitoring system for about $400.
Talking strictly about good drivers, any system wont help much with the typical air loss over time, because they check their tires regularly. It will only help when you pick up something on the road and get a leak while driving. A system like this might help large fleets that hire seat meat. If a driver ignores a warning light, then I guess you need a system that says, "I got it, just keep driving, I got it." If anyone doesn't know what that means google Vic Dibitetto and watch some of his i got it videos. -
