My father hauls heavy (140,000) regional every single day here in Ontario. He had Michelin XDN2's on but recently put on 2 sets of Goodyear LHD's (I think the exact # is 575?). He complained that the wear on the XDN2 wasn't too impressive. Man the wear on the Goodyear is a lot better than the Michelins. Grip goes to Michelins however, but not by much I may add. There were some posts earlier in the month where someone stated their goodyears started falling apart. Hopefully we won't see none of that!

I was thinking of trying some of those hankook dl12 this summer. They are priced great and I know they make real good racing tires. coworker has them on 1 axle and so far so good but it's too early to tell.

his fuel mileage is gonna go to #### hard. not only are the rolling resistance crap on the xdn2, compared to the 710....... and more so, compared to a very worn 710, it's gonna blow his mind just how bad it'll be!!!
I went from a worn Dunlop 431a to bridgestone m799 and I'm kicking myself for my poor life choices. $50 a day more fuel easily!!Road Killer Thanks this. -
I'm not sure what the comparison is with rolling resistance but I'll find out and check mpg in a few days. They seem like a softer riding tire from what I can tell so far.

on Michelin comparison site with 710 as the base 100 rating. xdn2 are 136
