Has anyone heard/read anything about the lumber wagon, that burned to the ground after leaving the road southbound? I went by there not long after it happened, and the tractor was still burning. Unfortunately, it didn't look like the driver made it out. Sure made me think when I went by. A bad one for sure.

Ya, the road dry, and the sky cloudy, you wouldn't think weather would be a factor. Wednesday when I went by, an excavator was still down on the area he stopped. I did see some skid marks leaving the road at the angle he could have been. The article said he rolled it, but didn't look that way from the road, it looked like he kept it upright, but took out a number of trees on the way down.
Maybe the Cheboygan News will have more today.
