I am in trucking and a friends son who lives in Michigan is looking to go to school. Not being from Michigan but heard people went through Michigan Works program as it seems they have grants or education reimbursements etc. Any of you have experience with that?
He is currently 21 and any inroads to employers would be appreciated. I guessed about Stevens to head to the oilfields, Panther straight truck, soda and beer companies, be a yard dog, dump, cement, etc. anybody know any grain hauler outfits he may get in touch with? He is okay with OTR but i do not know of CDL A outfits that hire below 23.
