a tornado warning remains in effect for northern kalamazoo county
until 445 pm edt.
At 408 pm edt national weather service meteorologists were tracking
a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado.
This dangerous storm was located near kalamazoo, moving east at
25 mph.
locations impacted include:
kalamazoo, richland, galesburg, augusta, highland park gull lake,
yorkville, cooper, northwood, howlandsburg, comstock, morrow lake

a tornado warning remains in effect for southern
kalamazoo county until 500 pm edt.
at 417 pm edt national weather service meteorologists
were tracking a severe squall line capable of producing
damaging straight line winds and rain-wrapped tornadoes.
This dangerous storm was located 8 miles east of kalamazoo
& moving northeast at 55 mph.
locations impacted include:
schoolcraft, fulton, portage, climax, vicksburg, scotts,
pavilion -
at 431 pm edt national weather service meteorologists
were tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
a tornado.
this tornado was located near battle creek,
moving east at 50 mph.
the tornado will be near:
battle creek around 435 pm edt
pennfield around 440 pm edt
convis twp around 445 pm edt
lee twp around 455 pm edt
duck lake around 500 pm edt
the warning includes areas surrounding these locations:
battle creek, tekonsha, marshall, albion, nashville,
convis twp, lee twp, babcock, ceresco, bedford, springfield,
burlington, athens, homer, assyria, banfield, hickory corners,
lacey
a tornado watch remains in effect until 800 pm edt sunday
evening for southwestern michigan. -
On the Michigan, Indian, Ohio border and heard sirens go off. Lights flickered quite a bit but managed to not lose power.
