If you want a true and tested AV or internet security product, then get Kaspersky AV 2010 or Kaspersky Internet Security 2010. Anything that says "free" Anti Virus program is like putting a screen door on a submarine and then giving the order to dive.:biggrin_25520:

I've been running it for two days on my Vista system. I haven't noticed any slow downs.

I don't peer to peer, I don't fall for spam email, and I don't go looking for pirated programs. For me, the main function of an anti-virus software is to keep that stupid security warning balloon from popping up by my clock. I doubt I'd ever get infected if I ran my computer without any software at all.

You probably wouldn't, mine don't. There' a way to turn that stupid balloon off too. M$ added it after several million complaints.

You can get a trojan virus just by surfing a cooking recipe site, just a FYI. Its computer users like this that are the 1st ones running to the PC doctor because their computer bit the dust due to the fact that they are riddled with viruses and spyware they didn't even know they had. Then they moan when they have to shell out a few hundred bucks to get it fixed.
