I don't worry about sitting in the passenger seat. I sit in the driver's seat. I will never have a passenger. If I had to give another driver a ride somewhere I would just throw my Cooler and garbage can in the back while they were in the truck.

I could probably wedge this microwave into the TV slot and then hold it in place with a bungie wrapped around the cabinet.

The problem with removing the trip around the fridge space is that once you put the fridge in there's no way to put the trim back on. There's also nothing to keep the fridge in that hole then.

My truck when I worked for SNI was a 2013 Cascadia but instead of just the trim piece over that opening they had another locking door. This way the fridge could move around inside as needed and I didn't have to worry about it falling out.

Since I keep my Fridge on my passenger seat I use what would be the fridge opening to keep my Xbox. I'm going to either buy or make a small shelf that fits in there to keep some more stuff on. That's my project next time I go home.

We have a 40 qt coleman and it fits great in the opening with the trim back on. We put some foam in the bottom to raise it up and some on the sides to keep it from shifting. Our 700w micro fits in the opening above and has a strap to go over it for support going down the road. I hate clutter especially with 2 people in the truck
