Hey everyone. I posted on here a few months ago that I was looking for a few options as a new driver. So I have been working for a food distributor for the last few months, I imagine I don’t have to tell anyone how hard the work is. To me the work is not horrible, I actually picked up very quickly and was on my own after a very short time. I was also recognized by a few people that drove with me how impressed they are with my driving and ability to maneuver in extremely difficult situations. Not trying to toot my own horn but I’m just very comfortable behind the wheel. So I don’t think this is something I want to do for a while, it’s great to get the experience but that’s about it. I think I would like to work with heavy machinery/construction equipment/ heavy hauling/ car hauling. I just want more of a challenge and a bit more excitement. I don’t mind being away for 4-5 days but I would prefer local. Can anyone offer any advice. Money is not a huge factor as my wife does well and I’m not relying only on my income so I don’t need to find the highest paying job out there, I’m really looking for a company I can stick with for a long time. Thank you in advance to everyone for the awesome feedback I have received so far.
Might be time for a change

Don't think about "experience required" because that's negotiable.

I don't know. Never had a desire to be a car hauler.

Car hauling certainly wasn't any more appealing than any other type of trucking coming out of school for me. I was willing to get my feet wet in any sector
