Now that you mention it, I remember the moving the indicator part. Thanks for the info. Never tried myself, wasn't worth attempting and leaving a customer stranded.

2000 I worked at a IH dealer. We had pallets of clutches replaced under warranty. A few failed during delivery. I completely understand. It works sometimes, and sometimes not.Oxbow, Big Road Skateboard and Diesel Dave Thank this. -

Update: clutch was a red herring. Clutch is fine.
The problem was fuel leak and Air in fuel system, causing slipping like symptoms when fuel wasn't getting to the engine. The squeaking was actually air getting into the fuel pump.
I had the leaky shutoff valve replaced and everything is fine nowMagoo1968 and Big Road Skateboard Thank this.
