Lowrie will hire you. I was out of trucking for 10 years. Did 3 months with schneider and them switched to a local company out of Dixon. They didn't seem to care about recent experience.

Don't get discouraged FTB530. There are companies that will give a guy a chance.

They got that ad in every 10-4 magazine I have. I'd like to do that. I can't remember if they wanted flatbed experience.

The ad on Craigslist says 2 years but I think if you get on during tomatoes and kick some butt they'll probably give you a shot. I think they put 2 years in the ad to weed out a lot of goofs. The company I'm at now required 2 years recent experience. Well I've only got 4 month recent but I went in and talked to them. Proved I knew my stuff. They took me out for a test drive and I was pissing in a cup the next day for pre-hire.

Did it have splash guards? If not they'll be responsible for the cost. If the splash guards were there they (insurance company) consider it an act of god.

No it was double bottom dumps, had mud flaps but the rock were coming off the sides of the truck. Bad thing it was on the same job i was working on and i called CHP , the CHP pulled over the truck but refused to cite him,i told the CHP officer if he was the one with the in his windshield he would be having a different conversation with the truck driver.
