Did you ever pickup on any names of the "Operations" guy or guys that were instrumental in the long run success of JB Hunt? I know that question maybe difficult to answer due to the fact that the book was printed in 92.

 

If you ever want to do a deep read/listen on Carnegie get this book or audio book. If you run a lot of miles it's a great value on Audible due to the fact that it's 20 some odd hours long.

That picture brings back memory's. I remember driving past JB Hunts corporate headquarters back when I was doing OTR flatbed back in the late 90's. The truck nerd in me thought that it was cool to see the building first hand. Of course this was long before things like Google existed.

 

I never drove for JB...though that 9670 looks exactly like my first TEAM truck. circa 1988. I see today drivers complaining about pay and the limited size of there huge bunk ( living space ) for a SINGLE. lol....... my first company truck was a COE 9670 International, 9 spd, 300 hp, spring ride, manual steering...etc.... Did I mention team?? My partner and I thought we went to pig heaven when the COE international 9700 came out for us...48" bunk....wtf!!!! Hog heaven....
