    @Mike_77

    It's funny how these companies choose equipment:
    1990s trucking.jpg
    It was like for the dedicated distribution accounts JB Hunt had those day-cab conventional Internationals.

    Then for OTR they had the Cab Overs Every One Knows and Loves:

    Then like you said they had the conventional s for the flat beds.

    It's interesting the different things they buy for different jobs.

    Ruthless and bzinger Thank this.

    You don't see to many of them around any more for as many as there were made. I don't know what happened to them besides half were sent overseas.

    I'm sure the other 1/4 are in the junk yard and the other 1/4 might still be somewhere.

    In the late 1990's They had these green international 9200's that ran out of the Georgia Pacific plant in Toledo, Or down to California. They were replaced when the Argosy's showed up.

    At the Toledo GP plant I often visited with JB drivers who told me that the COE 9700's that pulled Rocky Mountain doubles north out of the plant were special units equipped with N14 Cummins set at 430hp with a 9 speed. I've never found a picture of one of these Rocky Mountain Doubles JB Hunt had on the web, and unfortunately I never snapped a picture. I wish we had camera phones back then. Anyway standard issue power for JB 9700's COE's was a Cummins M11 set in the low 300 hp range, I think 330hp if memory serves me?

    I took this picture around 2004, I thought it was a funny combination lol. Years ago I saw this same truck somewhere in the Hanks truck picture collections, I've never been able to find again. Werner International COE Rice Hill 2-2004.JPG

    IMG_9337.jpg I found this picture of a early JB Hunt conventional with roof fairings. Like the flatbed tractor above its pre Pro Sleeper, the Pro Sleeper came out in 1994 if memory serves me? I seem to recall reading in a early 1990's JB Hunt drivers pamphlet that these were only issued to high seniority drivers with excellent safety records. I personally never saw one of these early JB Hunt dry van division conventionals on the road road out here on the west coast.
