    Ok...I dont get the purpose of this board..What does it bring to the table sorta speak in the cb world as well as side banding?? Is it just better sound on tx,what about rec,add power what??

    It's supposed to make you louder at the expense of performance. It reduces your output power in order to make you louder at close range. It's only as good as the initial "tune" of the radio. Kind of like sticking a glasspack Muffler into a Lamborghini missing four spark plugs or sticking a glasspack Muffler into a Lamborghini that runs perfectly to begin with.
