Milan Express.... Female newbies beware!!

No one has to toughen up and accept co-worker or company abuse.

I'm almost 46 years old and can assure you I was never spoon-fed by my now retired military dad growing up. But I reject the notion that one should regress to the ways of the past to be considered tough.

The fact is that Americans are more productive then they ever where in the past and life is to short to waste it on a constant struggle. So people who work wise and not just hard, will have a better life and live longer.

I will take a remote over a hand crank any day and smell the preverbrial roses with the time I save.

 

i agree with leadfoot on one thing, girls shouldnt have to feel scared to cross a truck stop parking lot hmm... now if only some men would quit being jerks maybe it wouldnt be an issue what you said sounds to me like youd say if a woman driver gets raped at a truck stop its her fault for chosing a mans job? grow up man.


ps men get raped too and last i checked 'good buddies' are pretty common in trucking.

 

Why don't you and your husband try US Xpress they only have auto shift I worked for them from 1993 thru 1997 they are a team company. they would most likely put you with a trainer for a few weeks then let you go team with your husband. Also I've been driving 20 years and I am a female, I was not real inpressed with Milan I was going to try them a few years back. They do not keep there word. I think you would like US Xpress, Good luck out there.

 

That's a bad deal but I have met a few of the male trainers and 1 of them was training a guy got into the mountains in east tn and the guy wouldn't let the student use the Jake brake and all the guy did was sit on the phone . There are a few good people there but since the old man quit running the show it's been a snowball headed for he((
