Her hubby might not be a trainer. I used to work for a co and I know this was the reason why she had to ride with a trainer before they teamed together.

Oh, trust me, I was wishing I had it recorded too!! My husband heard her when I was talking to him on the phone, but that's not good enough either, I guess, since he just started driving solo a couple of months ago. It just infuriates me when I think about how much of a
#!## she is, and I'm sure she's acting just as sweet as can be when talking to them, making me out to be the bad guy. I wish polygraph tests were more accessible!

And I agree with just having my husband train me if he wants to. I went to Milan's driving school, and if they're the one's that passed me, they should be assured that I'm safe to be out on the road. But, unfortunately, there's a lot of idiots out there that have no common sense. I've heard with other companies, people request a different trainer, but in this case when there IS none, I'm not sure what they're gonna do. Doesn't sound promising, and after they more or less accused me of lying about her, I don't even want to be a part of their so-called 'family'.

I'm not trying to loose Waterloo a sale here, but it is possible to get into a rig for much less than $100K.

For example.... I know a guy.... a member of this forum that bought a truck for just under $10k. Ran it until it blew and was more than enough to pay for itself.
Was it a purdy truck???? hell no

I've run across guys in my travels that their whole business model is to buy cheap trucks and run em until they blow... and buy another one for cash money.... and run it until it blows.

Not quite my way of doing it, but there are a lot of rigs for sale right now.

As far as running em' till they blow, that wouldn't be our way of doing it either, but I hear what you're sayin'. Probably more profitable if you don't mind the constant worry of breaking down at any time. We haven't checked the market for trucks at all, but I'm sure there's plenty of em' out there! We wouldn't have the funds available right now for a rig like that anyway.... but it sure IS purdy!!

Kuwait? What did your hubby do? If it was oil work related, I would high tail it to Alaska. The next next great frontier, as long as Palin is running the show...

If he is a vet, I would look at security work like BlackWater. There will be a need when this mess we all find ourselves in falls apart. The messiah is wearing not wearing any clothes.

He was contracting over there for a company called Textron Marine & Land. They basically repair armored vehicles. My husband trained army guys and fixed whatever they couldn't. He was in the service for about 6 years before I met him though. I don't know a lot about how that military stuff works.

I will spell it out real simple like... You would be a fool to buy my rig. Not that there is anything wrong with it, as there is not. But, like Barnum said, there is an @rse for every seat. And mine, both of them, are heated and have built in massage.

For what it is worth... Along with factory keyless entry, VuQube satellite tv, 27" Samsung LCD HDTV, factory XM, dinette, fridge/freezer, ThermoKing APU, Super Signles, on board scales, tractor and trailer (no more $10 Cat Scales), wired for QualCom and I could go on... And I will.... 530 Cummins w/13spd, 3:42 gears, 7mpg, 300 gal tanks, 6 stage Jakes, dual exhaust... 135,000 miles on odo... And I made well over 6 figures with this rig up until July 08...

2007 Volvo 780 with 2006 emissions and 2006 Great Dane Freedom with the Verduyn Tarps "Eagle" (conestoga kit). The trailer is built, interior lighting, nose holds ALL of the gear, 7' entry door, LED lighting, etc... No accidents, one owner. Trailer is clean, taught and does not "flap in the wind"... Very clean with all maint records...

Both are DECKED! The only thing I would like is a toilet. It ain't there, but oh well... I got close enough...:biggrin_25525:

This paid me 3 grand, 500 miles...

It could be yours if the messiah works his magic...
