I have a 2016 Western Star 4900EX glider. Has the DDIV (Detroit 60 series). I parked the truck Wednesday night with 530,547 miles on it. Thursday morning at 4am I started it up to leave and the odometer showed 5,310 miles. There is no steering wheel controls. The only rocker switch, additional beyond normal controls, is the diagnostic rocker switch which makes the engine light flash to retrieve codes. If there is a way to have a "trip" feature display instead of the total miles, I have no clue how to do that. Any thoughts of what is going on? If a laptop is plugged in, should my true mileage show up? I have never heard of such a crazy thing.
    Thank you.

Has anyone been able to figure out what causes this issues? I have 3 Western Star 4900 with the same problem. 2 of the trucks have 1998 60 Series and the other has a 2004 Cummins ISX. Odometers jump multiple times a week.
