2K a week might be a good estimate.

Any other thoughts or info from new swift drivers? 2000 mi/wk wont even pay my bills, let alone allow me to eat.

    OK,

    try 2500..........

Being a new driver, there are too many factors involved.

Hell, you might average 3K miles a week,

    but I doubt it.......

Then you got too much in bills get rid of what you don't need like. Cable ect

You can exspect 2000 miles a week to you prove your self and within a month you can make 3000 or more if you choose to go home every 2 weeks then plan on make. Very little $$$$ you have to spend 4 or 5 weeks out to make lots of $$$$

Here is some advice Accept every load you can be on time on and the planners will take care of you after you prove your self to be a truck driver and run over 600 miles a day you will make $900 to $1100 a week within a few months

Where are you working, scarface? Hubby has been driving for 14 weeks and he picked up the most miles he's ever had on this paycheck....2557 at $.26 cpm. From his experience, I think you should be looking in the neighborhood of 1700 miles per week for the first month or 2.

Edit: You should also probably be prepared to be stuck in the north east for most of that time.

    1700 at .26 = 442.00 FOR 7 DAYS OF WORK, AWAY FROM HOME !!!!

    WTH ???

Maybe for a newbie buying time, but #### that is HARSH !!!!

But from my understanding Swift is
    0-3 = .26 CPM
    6-9 = .29 CPM
    9-12= .32 CPM

Is that true ??? then it would be OK, not great but at least it does go up ...

yes, your first year you get huge increase in your cpm,and if reliable, and not a whiney ahole, your miles per trip and week get better too,but it do take awhile to learn the system,do you really think you are able to do 2500-3000 a week, green as heck? think again, that thinking is a disaster waiting to happen.........just some advice....been there, done that:biggrin_25525:
