2K a week might be a good estimate.
-
Any other thoughts or info from new swift drivers? 2000 mi/wk wont even pay my bills, let alone allow me to eat.
-
ull be raking in the $$ at .23c per mile
-
OK,
try 2500..........
Being a new driver, there are too many factors involved.
Hell, you might average 3K miles a week,
but I doubt it....... -
Then you got too much in bills get rid of what you don't need like. Cable ect
You can exspect 2000 miles a week to you prove your self and within a month you can make 3000 or more if you choose to go home every 2 weeks then plan on make. Very little $$$$ you have to spend 4 or 5 weeks out to make lots of $$$$
Here is some advice Accept every load you can be on time on and the planners will take care of you after you prove your self to be a truck driver and run over 600 miles a day you will make $900 to $1100 a week within a few months -
Where are you working, scarface? Hubby has been driving for 14 weeks and he picked up the most miles he's ever had on this paycheck....2557 at $.26 cpm. From his experience, I think you should be looking in the neighborhood of 1700 miles per week for the first month or 2.
Edit: You should also probably be prepared to be stuck in the north east for most of that time. -
1700 at .26 = 442.00 FOR 7 DAYS OF WORK, AWAY FROM HOME !!!!
WTH ???
Maybe for a newbie buying time, but #### that is HARSH !!!!
But from my understanding Swift is
0-3 = .26 CPM
6-9 = .29 CPM
9-12= .32 CPM
Is that true ??? then it would be OK, not great but at least it does go up ... -
Everett and Southpaw7391 Thank this.
