Are there any HP drivers out there that are completely done with all their Evo I-II training and actually recieving their full salary yet?
The question is, do you have to log a minimum of 4 hours on duty each day to get the full days pay? And do you get half a days pay if less than 4 hours of on duty time is logged?
Since I m scheduled for the van division, I am wondering what I can do to log in 4 hours each day, if I am sitting for 2-3 straight days.
There is only so much one can do as far as washing, detailing, inspecting the truck.
Any advice from one of you ROEHL drivers that is in the HP program and recieving the full salary would be greatly appreciated...
Military HP program question for ROEHL drivers??

hey I just finished evo and have my own truck now WOOHOO!!! I am HP also. Heres the deal... if you are sitting and waiting for a load then you will get 1/2 pay for the day. You cant make up stuff to log as on duty. Its better than the mileage guys tho, they sit for a couple days and they get nothing... Trust me tho, in your evo 3 you wont be sitting around waiting... longest I have sat is 22 hours then off on the next mission

How much time do you have to log to get the full days pay?
On the day you sat for 22 hours, did you still get the full days pay even though you were only on duty for 2 hours?
I am scheduled for National Van division Orientation in Atlanta on Feb 9th. However, I would prefer to eventually go flatbed for the extra money. How difficult is it to change over from Van to flatbed later on?
I see that you changed from flatbed to Van,so you obviously have some knowledge on the subject...Last edited: Jan 25, 2009

As far as I'm aware, changing from Van to Flatbed would be with completion of some paperwork, as well as going through load securement class. Shouldn't be a problem.

Gunz, Qustion, just got my pre-hire from Rohel, know this is not a hire but close and mega excited. My question is: Pre-hire physical? Road trip and in general your thoughts my man? (not until latter part of March) (finish school end of Feb).
Curious minds whant to know -
standard once over for the physical, checking BP, sleep apnea, vision, hearing... road trip was ok, I learned more from last trainer than the 1st 2 combined... guess I wasnt at that level in the early days... now the fear creeps in... I launch Wed 8am on my own... noone watching over my shoulder to watch me back or make sure I hit my exit... so now I need to double check it all...

havent met a person that i didnt like yet.... maintenance, office, training or orientation... im sure i will soon tho...
